Step 1
Get the app and log in
- Find the login invite we sent to zakharovd2009@gmail.com and set your password.
- Install the LeadConnector app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Log in with that email and password, then pick JOBCO Paving if it asks for an account.
- Allow notifications. That's how you'll see new leads and replies.
Step 2
What happens when a lead comes in
You don't have to do anything for the first reply. Here's what the system does on its own:
- The lead goes into the JOBCO Leads pipeline as New Lead, assigned to you, with the date and source saved.
- They get an email from JOBCO right away. They get a text only if they agreed to texts.
- You get a text and an email with their name, phone and what they need.
- Mon to Fri, 8 AM to 5 PM: your phone rings. Answer and you're connected to the lead. After hours, the call waits for the next business morning.
- No answer from them? They get a follow-up on day 3 and a last check-in on day 7. It stops the moment they reply.
Step 3
Your daily 5-minute check
- Conversations: reply to anyone waiting. Every text and email from a lead lands here.
- Opportunities: look at the JOBCO Leads board. Drag each lead you worked today to its new stage.
- Bidding: anyone you quoted this week should be in Bidding. The system follows up on the quote for you.
Step 4
Stages, and what each one does
Moving a lead to the right stage is what keeps the follow-ups correct. Some stages start messages on their own.
| Stage | Move it here when | What happens on its own |
|---|---|---|
| New Lead | Automatic for new leads | First email, alert to you, your phone rings |
| Contacted | Automatic after the call connects, or move it once you talk | Day 3 and day 7 follow-ups stop once they reply |
| Booked | A site visit is on the calendar | Reminder the day before the visit |
| Met | You've done the site visit | Nothing. Send the quote next |
| Bidding | You've sent the quote | Quote follow-ups on day 2, 5 and 10, then a reminder to you |
| Won | They said yes | Review request 3 days later |
| Lost | They said no, or it's a bad lead | All follow-ups stop |
Step 5
Marking Won and Lost
This is how Ben sees which lead sources actually make money. It only works if every closed lead gets marked.
Won
- Open the lead in Opportunities.
- Type the job amount in Opportunity Value. Example: 8500.
- Set the status to Won and save.
Lost
- Set the status to Lost.
- Add a one-line note on why: price, timing, went with someone else, bad lead, never answered.
Step 6
Quick replies (snippets)
Ready-made messages so you don't have to type the same thing every time. In a conversation, tap the snippets button next to the message box and pick one. Edit it if you need to, then send.
Step 7
A few don'ts
- Don't text a lead first unless they texted you, called you, or agreed to texts. The carriers check this, and it protects JOBCO's number.
- Don't delete leads. Mark them Lost instead, so the numbers stay right.
- Don't leave quotes sitting in Met. Move them to Bidding so the quote follow-ups run.
